Introductory Language Award
The Award in Basic English for Foreigners is an introductory programme designed to help learners build essential English language skills for everyday communication. The programme supports beginners in developing confidence across speaking, listening, reading, and writing through structured teaching, guided practice, and workshop-based activities.
The curriculum is designed to provide a practical foundation in English for learners who need support in basic communication for daily life, social interaction, and further learning. Delivery is face-to-face and includes tutor guidance, class participation, and activities that encourage active use of the language in realistic contexts.
